Kapila Jayawardena was appointed to the Board of Directors of the company in July 2010. He also functions as the MD and Group CEO of the LOLC Group. He holds a MBA in Financial Management and counts over 27 years of experience in all areas of banking, nine years of which in the capacity of CEO/Country Head for Citibank, Sri Lanka and the Maldives. He serves on the Board of Directors at many of the LOLC Group companies. He was appointed Chairman of the Sri Lanka Banks Association in 2003/04 and President of the American Chamber of Commerce in 2006/07. He has won many personal and professional plaudits for his exceptional career.

Kithsiri Gunawardenawas appointed to the Board of Directors in January 2013. He joined the LOLC Group in 2004 and counts over 22 years of experience as a Lawyer. He has held a number of important positions in the state, including the office of State Counsel attached to the Attorney General's Department, the Office of Director -Legal of the Securities and Exchange Commission of Sri Lanka and the Insurance Board of Sri Lanka and was involved in setting up the Consumer Affairs Authority as its first Director General. He holds directorship in a number of LOLC Group Companies.

Dr. James Swaminathanholds LLD, LLM and M Phil from the University of Colombo and LLB from the University of Ceylon. He is also Attorney-at-Law, Justice of the Peace and Unofficial Magistrate. He has also been conferred the Degree of LLD (Honoris Causa) by the University of Colombo. He is the Precedent Partner of Messrs. Julius & Creasy and is a Member of the Company Law Advisory Commission, a Member of the Intellectual Property Law Commission. He was a Member of the Council of Legal Education and is a Member of the Law Commission of Sri Lanka. He is also a Member of the Board of Faculty of Law, University of Colombo. He was also a Faculty Member of the LLM Wales Course conducted by the Sri Lanka Law College and a Faculty Member and Course Director of Post Attorneys Diploma Program on Intellectual Property Law and is over 50 years in practice. He is also a Director of several listed and unlisted companies.
